Bybit announces native USDC support on Aptos with a $20,000 APT giveaway

Bybit, the world’s second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, has announced native support for USD Coin (USDC) on Aptos (APT), as per the information shared with Finbold on Tuesday, May 27.
The integration allows users to trade USDC and earn Aptos’ native token, APT, directly through Bybit’s platform.
To celebrate the launch, Bybit has also announced the Bybit x Aptos Super Event, a month-long campaign running until June 26, 2025, with over 20,000 APT in rewards up for grabs.

USDC on Aptos
Ash Pampati, Head of Ecosystem at the Aptos Foundation, has described the move as an important step forward in stablecoin adoption.
He particularly highlighted Aptos’ growing importance as a Layer 1 (L1) blockchain tailored for real-world financial applications.
M. K. Chin, on the other hand, Head of Ecosystem Partnerships at Bybit, has noted that the integration would help lay the groundwork for “a global, inclusive financial future where crypto is safe, regulated, and accessible to all.”
Bybit x Aptos Super Event
APT is the native token of the Aptos blockchain, and users can stake it through Bybit’s On-Chain Earn feature to earn daily rewards and help secure the network.
To qualify for the Bybit x Aptos Super Event, users can stake APT through Bybit’s On-Chain Earn platform and hold their position for at least 24 hours.
This qualifies new and existing users for a share of 5,000 APT.
New users who go through the know-your-customer (KYC) verification, deposit funds, and meet trading thresholds will receive 5 APT from a 5,000 APT prize pool.
Only the first 1,000 qualified participants are eligible, and the offer ends on June 9, 2025.
Those who trade at least $300 worth of APT on Bybit Spot during the campaign period can earn a share of a 10,000 APT pool (max 400 APT per user).
